SMall Batch wines with small town vibes
We, Michael and Peter Laing, started our journey in winegrowing in 2002, when our parents moved to the Suttons bay area and planted two acres of winegrapes. They started selling their fruit to Larry Mawby in 2005.
We worked in the vineyard when we could in the early years, but had other jobs outside the area. In 2007 and 2009 respectively, Mike and Pete moved to the area and began working at MAWBY and developing a plan for our own brand. That brand grew into bigLITTLE Wines.
Today we operate three Leelanau County vineyards, and source all of the fruit for bigLITTLE Wines from those farms. We own and manage MAWBY and bigLITTLE with the help of a great team of professionals.
We welcome you to bigLITTLE Wines and hope you might share in our passion for winegrowing on Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula!
